Environment

There is rarely a day that goes by when the environment isn’t mentioned in the news. Whether it’s on a local, national or international level, the state of our planet and the irrecoverable damage that mankind continues to cause it is something which will affect us all, either in the near future or for future generations to come. From deforestation and the immense impact the loss of our rainforests could have on our planet to the damage to the ozone layer and global warming: the degeneration of the polar ice cap and the adverse effect it has on not just our people, but on our wildlife and critically endangered species. Supporting these charities can help educate and make a practical difference for the future.

By conservative estimates 9000 species are becoming extinct every year, most of them from rainforests. We are presently experiencing the largest mass extinction since the demise of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago, only this time it’s occurring at a much faster rate.
