There are thousands of survivors from war and conflict living in the UK today. They include our brave soldiers who fought for our freedom in World War II; to protect our land and the people of the Falklands and to fight against oppression during recent tours of duty in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia and Sierra Leone.
Our service personnel often need practical or financial support to enable them to rebuild their own lives when they return home to their families. And rehabilitation or physical, mental and emotional support because of the experiences they have had or witnessed whilst overseas. Whatever your view on war or where our battles commence or end, our brave men and women have fought for their country; they deserve our support for their future.
