Overseas Aid & Development

Our planet has succumb to and suffered from many natural disasters over recent years. Thousands of lives have been lost through tsunami, earthquake and other unavoidable and catastrophic events.

Poverty continues to blight countries throughout the world: a lack of healthcare, shelter, food and clean water. The most basic of human rights which so many people take for granted, yet so very many do not benefit from at all. Now, more than ever, do people in poverty stricken areas need our help and support.

Conflict continues to have an adverse affect on the lives and financial strength of a number of countries, as people strive to live. And to survive under such atrocity.

It’s through the immense generosity of the general public in the UK that many global disasters have had their impact on the environment and local economy substantially reduced. The cost of human life is irreplaceable; but families can be supported, medicine provided and homes, towns and cities rebuilt.

Sometimes it’s hard to imagine what life must be like for these people; but you can make a difference. You can provide vital support by raising funds or donating personally. You may wish to consider a regular or one off donation, or leaving a legacy in your Will.

It’s estimated that Maleria kills 627,000 people per year, mainly children under 5 years of age in sub-Saharan Africa.

Every year more than 200 million cases occur; most of these are never tested or registered.
